General

John A. Grimsby was John "Peg-Leg" Foster’s grandson and wrote this poem about John Foster. This poem details events of John Foster’s life, specifically the events that led him to be called “The Outlaw of Outlaw Mesa.” Given the reference to John Foster’s death this was likely written shortly after his death in May 1970 most likely as a eulogy.
