This map compiled Waldermar Lindgren assisted by J. M. Hill, V. C. Heikes, C. Naramore, and A. N. Winchell, lists the minerals that are mined in each district organized by state and county with markings to indicate where they can be found and if they are a placer mine or a deep mine. Mercury is referred to as quicksilver in this map.
