J. M. Cuenin drew and compiled this map from U.S. field notes, notes taken while on boundary surveys, and other sources. This map marks district lines, rivers, creeks, mountains, and trails. Cochetopa is a former National Forrest that comprised of what is now the Gunnison national forest as well as parts of the Rio Grande and San Isabel national forests.
