Most documents fall in the years of 2000-2010, however some documents come from the early 70s, and others come from after 2010.

This collection is primarily the personal papers, or papers pertaining to, Dr. John D. Redifer, professor of political science at Mesa State College – Colorado Mesa University. A few of the files (Box 1, File 1) document Dr. Redifer’s work at Mesa State College and his evaluations. The vast majority of the documents pertain to his work with various water related organizations in the Western Slope of Colorado. For example, the Grand Junction Planning Commission, the Colorado Water Conservation Board, the Colorado Foundation for Water Education Board, the Ute Water Board, and the Chair of the Mesa County Democratic Party.

Materials are largely either reports, briefs, minutes, or research. They are largely textual, with images in between. Included also are maps, charts, notes, printed presentation slides, bookmarks, pamphlets, informational advertisements, agendas, plans.
